It depends on the speed of learning and many other factors such as level, time slots taken etc. As a rule of thumb, A1 course takes on an average three months or roughly 70 teaching units for weekend batches. Note that we take fees per level and not per class hour.
A teaching unit is 45 minutes of lecture. And generally, this corresponds to an additional 45 minutes of individual work by the student in form of self study, assignments etc.

No. Certificates for various levels like A1, A2 etc. can be officially issued only by the Goethe Institut. We only teach the language for each level. The student is responsible to register him-/herself for the certification exams. We can issue certificates of classes attended if the students need it.
Yes. Attending exam is only necessary if the student is interested in having the certification as proof of german proficiency etc. Else, one can simply learn the language!
No. Good communication depends heavily on good grammar and other skills. Hence, we follow the CEFR for languages and cover all the language skills including reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
